Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For RO & RM Posts:

• 12th (PCM) with minimum 60% marks OR
• 10th pass with ITI in relevant trades (Radio & TV, Electronics, COPA, Data Preparation, Electrician, Fitter, etc.)

Age Limit (as on 23 September 2025)

• General/EWS: 18 to 25 years
• OBC: 18 to 28 years
• SC/ST: 18 to 30 years
  Age relaxation applicable as per rules.

Selection Process

1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
   • Height:
     • Male (Gen/OBC/SC): 168 cm | Male (ST): 162.5 cm
     • Female (Gen/OBC/SC): 157 cm | Female (ST): 154 cm
   • Chest (Male only):
     • Gen/OBC/SC: 80-85 cm | ST: 76-81 cm
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
   • Male: 1.6 km run in 6.5 min, Long Jump 3.6 m, High Jump 1.2 m
   • Female: 800 m run in 4 min, Long Jump 9 ft, High Jump 3 ft
3. Written Examination (CBT)
   • 100 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours duration
   • Negative marking: 0.25 mark per wrong answer
4. Skill/Trade Test
   • Practical test for RO/RM role-specific skills
5. Document Verification
6. Medical Examination

• Pay Scale: Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) plus allowances as per BSF norms.
